i agree with the article on Cinematical.com, it is essential that a film releases a trailer whether its just a teaser trailer or a theatrical trailer. The use of creating a teaser trailer allows audiences to be immediatly attracted to a film, although it does really depend on how good the trailer is or if the basis of the film being shown in the trailer is already known such as Batman and Spiderman.
